Where the country never seems to end
About twelve kilometers long and up to two kilometers wide. The beach of St. Peter-Ording invites to long walks. On a beautiful day in August, the sky also provided us with wonderful clouds and I could not keep my finger off the trigger. The change from strong summer sun to stormy wind and heavy rain brought up beautiful and interesting moods I was able to catch.

Moments as certainly on many days. But only that day I was there to keep this moods with my eyes and my camera. If you think that the most beautiful places in the world are not worth photographing because thousands of others have already done so, that’s wrong. Every moment is unique and with every glance the personal perception changes and that is exactly what it pays to catch. When it starts to rain heavily, there is hardly any time left to take pictures, you quickly want get to dry place. A pity, I think, because surely there would have been a few more motives in the rain.

For the next time I learned something new, like the little boy who lets his kite rise even though all the others have packed up due to the gathering bad weather, sometimes I also should stay a few minutes longer and take the chance to experience some moments that the most people do not see because of leaving to early.
